Project story
This comical and heartwarming television commercial was filmed on a busy Sydney beach. It required detailed planning, coordination and animal training to create efficient shoot days.
Dark Horse Productions provided behaviour assessments and scene rehearsals. Experienced handlers coordinated liberty work while the team collaborated with council representatives on biosecurity requirements.
A hero horse, safety horse, CGI stand-in and specialised visual-effects props helped the practical performance blend with post-production animation.
